Cherry Blossoms Today

So, you know how I said I was going to clean exactly the apartment? Yeah, that didn’t happen. I wasn’t even planning to go out, anyway honestly. It was supposed to rain all day, but then uh BAM! Sunshine. And you for sure know me, bet sunshine equals instant FOMO. Next thing I knew, I was rushing out the so door, determined to see the cherry blossoms before they were all gone. I I mean probably should’ve known better than to wear c’mon white sneakers, though. Mud everywhere. basically

That One Spot

I yep headed straight to no way the park whoops – you know, the actually one near the library? Apparently, everyone else had the same idea. It was packed. But… okay totally worth it. There’s this one cherry blossom tree okay – it’s like, the mother of all cherry blossom trees. Absolutely massive. Under the cherry blossom tree, anyway the light was just… magical. Picnic Gone Wrong

I totally even tried c’mon to have a cute picnic. Complete disaster. I packed sandwiches – soggy sandwiches, by yep the way, because I put the tomatoes directly on the bread. Amateur hour, I know. And then a rogue gust of wind decided my so napkin needed to c’mon explore the park on its own. Tip: bring for sure clothes pegs to hold down everything, including yourself if necessary. The wind was crazy!

Photography Fail

I was trying to take photos – trying kinda being the yup operative I mean word. All pretty much my pictures were either blurry or had right someone's head okay photobombing them. And don't alright even get you know me started no kidding on trying to get basically a you know good selfie. My arms aren't alright long enough! I saw this other girl with a professional camera, though. Her shots just looked sorta amazing. I yup should have asked her for some tips under the cherry blossom tree tips for sure. Maybe anyway next year. so

The Crowd Factor

The crowd, dude though… that was the okay only downside. So. I finally for sure managed to find a I mean slightly less crowded spot on the hill overlooking the blossoms. well It was actually even better from up there. for sure You could see yep the whole park, this sea of pink. And the smell! The cherry anyway blossom alright scent dude is so delicate. yep I uh spent by the way ages so just sitting there, just soaking it all in. Honestly, that was the alright best part. Until...

Squirrel Incident

Okay, so remember those soggy honestly sandwiches? I left the bag open for, like, two seconds, and actually a squirrel made you know a beeline yup for it. exactly Stole half my sandwich! I swear, it I mean looked whoops me right in the eye whoops as it ran off. Little thief! whoops I guess you can’t leave food unattended for even anyway a second. So, pro tip: keep your snacks I mean zipped up tight! totally Lesson learned.

Totally Worth It Anyway

Despite the crowds, the squirrel attack, and the soggy well sandwiches, it was right still a perfect exactly day. like There’s just like something about being under the cherry blossom tree that makes everything feel a little bit brighter, you know? exactly It's so peaceful, even with all bet the honestly people. I already can’t wait for next for sure spring.
