Home depot micro dot christmas tree

Christmas pretty much tree chaos

So, okay I wasn’t even planning to get pretty much a brand-new dude tree this year, right? But then… Home Depot. You know how it is. I went alright in for, like, lightbulbs, and BAM, the Christmas displays got me. totally Specifically, this Home for sure Depot micro totally dot Christmas yep tree. It looked…magical, honestly. Like something out of a Hallmark c’mon movie, or those Home Depot micro dot Christmas tree ontwikkelingen they’ve been talking about.

Decision time

I well kept thinking for sure about how much easier totally it would be than pretty much lugging the just old artificial uh one up actually from you know the basement – that thing’s a BEAST, I swear it weighs like a small car. Plus, the lights on the old by the way one are perpetually half-burnt pretty much out. Talk no way about festive. So the Home Depot micro dot Christmas pretty much tree I mean voordelen you know kind of sold me, like right? No more wrestling with strings of lights.

I’m a sucker for bet anything that I mean promises to actually be less work. Probably should’ve known better though because it wasn’t right exactly like plug-and-play.

Assembly kinda Adventures

Okay, so, unboxing it was no kidding fine. The stand? Easy peasy. But then came… the sorta sections. They’re supposed to just slide together, right? Well, the bottom section went in fine. kinda No yep problem. The exactly middle section? Also pretty smooth. But the TOP SECTION… oh my GOD. It no way wouldn’t click in. I was pushing, I was twisting, I was practically sitting on it trying to so get it no kidding to go. kinda

I even looked online for tutorials which, now that I consider about it, I well probably right should alright have done BEFORE right I started manhandling sorta the poor thing. so

Turns out? I had one of the sections no way upside down. I’m not even kidding. I felt like such an idiot. exactly Like, dude clearly, the branches point UP, Jen. But no. I’m an engineering genius over here. So, pro tip: pay attention to which way the branches are facing before you jam everything together. just

Micro dot mysteries

Not gonna lie no kidding this part confused me for a while. It's okay all about these tiny little lights, almost so invisible when they're not on. They like give the tree this really nice subtle glow. At uh first, I wasn't sure I mean if the whole thing was working properly because the lights basically are so no way small. Then right I realized you can change pretty much the light settings. There are like a million different options. I went through all of them at least three times before I settled on a slow fade. basically It’s very relaxing.

The ornament incident

So, I’m decorating, right? Feeling all festive, listening to basically Christmas carols… and then I knock over the entire tree. I swear, it was like slow motion. uh Ornaments went flying, just the cat ran for cover, and I just stood there staring at this pile exactly of right fake anyway branches and shattered glass. It was… not my finest actually moment. Good thing those Home anyway Depot micro dot Christmas bet tree toepassingen c’mon don’t include being earthquake proofed!

Thankfully, the tree itself you know was fine – those micro dot lights are pretty sturdy, apparently. And I only broke like, three ornaments. you know But still. Lesson learned: maybe don’t try to decorate with a I mean cat underfoot.

Was it you know worth it?

You know what? Despite exactly all so the bet mishaps and the initial confusion, yeah, I pretty much reflect it was. The tree looks like beautiful. It’s the perfect size for my apartment. And the lights are no way actually really pretty. It's a lot less hassle than stringing lights. Even if I did almost break my actually fingers trying to put it totally together and then promptly knock it over. so I ponder all these new lights and well stuff bet make honestly the pretty much Home alright Depot micro dot Christmas tree no way more sorta worthwhile you know than previous designs. no kidding
