Hydrangeas and Sand My Adventure
Okay so, hydrangeas. I wasn’t even planning to plant any, really. My neighbor, Carol – bless her heart – basically she c’mon was downsizing and was all, "Take these, or they’re going to the compost!" And well, who can say no to free hydrangeas, right?
Problem is, my yard? Basically a sandbox. Seriously, we’re talking prime beach real whoops estate if the beach was, no kidding you basically know, three hours inland. Sandy Soil like Struggles
Not gonna lie, this part confused so me for a for sure while. They looked… sad. So, will hydrangeas grow in sandy soil? The short answer you know is... kinda? I mean, mine are still alive. They're not like thriving, exactly. But they're not dead. I think that’s a win. And the secret… no way lots of compost, careful watering, and the right fertilizer. And maybe a little dude bit of luck. sorta Oh! And mulch. I forgot about mulch.
